Hows The Market April 2024

The March housing numbers are in.  Let’s see how the numbers for Oshkosh/Town of Algoma compared this March vs. March of 2023:

  • New listings were down slightly compared to last year.  February was way up compared to 2023 so year to date we are still up over 25% in new homes for sale.
  • The total homes sold was pretty flat compared to last March.  Again, the first couple of months of the year were up significantly so we are still positive for the year.
  • Median sales price rose 6% over last year.
  • Median days to sell is 42 days, down a couple days from last year at this time.

This was a much more “normal” month.  Pretty well in line with last year at this time.  Interest rates are stable at the upper 6% range.  I would expect to see more of the same through the spring/summer months.
